Mike Gliem is an accomplished, sought-after published author, poet, motivational/inspirational speaker, 501(c)3 nonprofit founder, and CEO of Next Level Movement LLC. Mike's near-death experience after suffering a traumatic brain injury in 2014  lead him to find his purpose. Prior to this life-changing event, Mike suffered from addiction and mental health conditions for over 20 years. He spent multiple years in and out of homeless shelters, psychiatric hospitals, addiction treatment centers, and correctional facilities.  Ultimately leaving him hopeless and homeless on the streets of Kensington, Philadelphia. 

After re-learning how to walk, talk, and write as a result of his brain injury, against all odds, and doctors' opinions, he has made a full recovery! Once a hopeless homeless addict, Mike's perspective and outlook have since changed drastically. He felt called to a higher purpose to help others find their true authenticity, their purpose, and their ability to overcome any obstacle they will face in their lives. Through his personal experience, faith, perseverance, resilience, grit, and discipline, Mike has successfully left a lasting impression and change in many people through his transformational speeches, life coaching, and workshops.
